Ok to begin this i will start with all the info i have gatherd.This will help you deside which is the client for you,
Kazaa/grokster/imesh-Ok our beloved fasttrack,very fast,very popular,lot of fakes,very UNSAFE,This network people can acces your pc,control your connection and monotor what you are downloading.not too good.
Winmx/opennap-nothing to bad here,lot of files ,lot of queues,slow transfers and lots of fakes,safty isnt an issue as this network hasnt proven to be the spyware kind,
gnutella-well ell,this network has been realy going in 2 directions,good and bad,but something has changed gnutella.Shareaza has changed speeds,popularity,and also it just looks good.The 2 clients are the best for windows are gnuclues and shareaza which are both ad free and spyware free.
mediaseek.pl - - not to baD all exept for the spyware and queue.this might be promising
filetopia - - this is turely the safest as our isp cannot see what file we are downloading because it goes encrypted.All ayone can see is the number of bytes.This has to be the safest(useable) client ever.It has awsome support and good speeds.Spyware and adaware free
BlubSter- this is one ofthe fastest clients out there .but with the 2.0 version it has been very disiponting .the 2.0 version is greately over 4 megs and has nothing that great exept for multidownloads.The antivirus is a demo and how can you get virus off mp3 files other than scrpits mabey.
nmdc/DC++ - this has to be one of the great ones,safty isnt an issue .but if you have 5 gigs of info and a good connection then this is the network for albums,software,movies and more.
ED2k/'emule/emuleplus- this network is non the lease anything other than good,other than slow transfers.this network has any file you want
overnet - - this is the new serverless edonkey and it is much faster this time you always get conencted.
FileNavigator,CompuServe,Swaptor,intallmp3 - - this network never seems to grow but it has a cool client interface and good amount of files.
well that is my filesharing report,I hope it helped you see what client to se and what network to hate.I my self like to use filetopia because no one at my isp can see wut i am downloading or uploading,this way they have no proof of what i am downloading or u ploading.Thats my oppinon,you choose what ever one you like.Thx |
